Information on Mijas
 The
village of Mijas is located in the hills above Fuengirola
and the Mijas Costa. This traditional Andalucian village
has some of the best views of the coast along the Costa Del
Sol. There are no main highways running through it and therefore
it make Mijas a quite a peaceful town filled with white washed
buildings in true Spanish style. The village is made up of
a maze of small cobbled streets and narrow archways.
Over the past couple of decades the village has grown in
size and many different nationalities have come to call Mijas
their home whether it is for the full year or only the holiday
season. The impact of this growth can be seen in the bars,
clubs, international cuisine and golfing community that has
formed. Mijas is host to some excellent golf courses even
better self catering resorts, many of them found perched
on these golf courses.
