Torrequebrada Golf Course,
Benalmadena
Originally designed by Pepe Gancedo the Torrequebrada golf
course was first opened in 1976 and has since become the
most recognised golf course on the Costa
Del Sol. The course held venue to the Spanish Open in 1997
one of the more prestigious events on the golfing calender.
The course offers players an exciting round of golf with
many water hazards and trees and a couple of very
tricky holes. The Torrequebrada golf course is fairly tricky
for an inexperienced player with the potential to lose your
ball in the woods, water and rough bunkers if you have a
wild swing. It is however one of the most popular courses
along the Costa Del Sol and is the home club of the European
PGA professional Miguel Angel Jimenez.
